Exeter City Football Club is offering a unique opportunity for a passionate and driven university student to join our 1st Team as a Performance Analyst Intern. This role is designed for a student eager to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical, elite football environment. Working within the First Team setup, the successful applicant will gain valuable experience supporting the First Team players in their performance for the 26/27 season. You will be guided by the Head of Performance analysis and supported by the First Team Performance Analyst department. The role involves filming training sessions and home matches, managing equipment, analyzing training logs, supporting opposition analysis, and collaborating with coaches and support staff to meet performance analysis objectives. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to continuously expand their skills and knowledge in performance analytics. Essential criteria for the role include currently studying a degree in Sport Science or a related field, a genuine passion for working within an elite football environment, and an enhanced FA DBS check. Desirable criteria include BFAS certification, a Safeguarding Children Certificate, and prior experience in a professional sports setting.
